Judith Hall
I am an experienced Management and Life Coach, Solution Focused Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist; a warm and sensitive listener with excellent questioning skills that enable me to focus swiftly in to the heart of a problem. I use an extensive range of tools and techniques which are tried and tested, and for which I can give sensible explanations. You will just find straightforward, professional and effective support.
I believe that my greatest strength lies in my rich background of helping people to take control of their lives and their health in a wide range of contexts.
I started my career in nursing, qualifying as a Registered General Nurse and a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, and practicing in acute psychiatry for several years before becoming an Interpersonal Skills Trainer, working independently and for Relate Marriage Guidance, the counselling charity. My specialities were in teaching assertiveness, confidence building, stress management and listening skills.
In subsequent years I took on other professional and voluntary roles, and further training and professional development increasing my knowledge and experience of helping people deal with the stressful areas of life including parenting, redundancy, work based stress, long term illness and injury, family conflict and bereavement.
I hold the Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma, an externally accredited qualification which meets the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy as well as the prestigious Institute of Leadership and Management Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring (Level 5). I am a qualified Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner, and have undertaken further training in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Techniques.
I am proud to be a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), which holds the largest register of practising hypnotherapists in the UK. Each of the NCH's members is bound by a strict code of ethics, an established complaints and disciplinary procedure and maintains comprehensive public liability and professional indemnity insurance. |
